The Race for the Cure®

One in eight women will be stricken with breast cancer in her lifetime. The Komen Salt Lake City Race for the Cure® raises money to fund education, screening and treatment programs for these women and thousands of others in our own community and supports the national search for a cure.

Unfortunately this has recently got one of our dear friends.

So... this year we have created Team " Bookin' For Boobies" for our friend Lori Wahlen.  We will be racing to show our love and support for Lori in her fight against breast cancer.  I would like to honor & extend all of our support to her, and any other woman out there that is currently fighting, or has already fought this monster, no matter what form of cancer it is! You may or may not know Lori, but for those who don't,  she is an amazing woman, mom, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.  She is only 41 years old!She is just starting chemotherapy in the next week, therefore, we need to raise as much money as possible for the research to cure this disease.  For all of you who have already signed up thank you so much for your support!  I invite everyone to join us in the RACE or WALK for the cure!!!  I would love for you join our team Bookin' For Boobies!

This year we will be "Haulin' For Wahlen", our friend Lori Wahlen.

It's a great event for you competitiors, and a super family affair!! What a fabulous way to show your support for Lori and ALL women...... Plus we get to raise money for such an improtant cause!!!

Although we would love your company, but if you are unable to attend the event , your donation is appreciated!!!
